Pre-conference workshop: FAARFFIELD 2.1 for ACR/PCR Reporting
Glendale, Arizona– Sunday, June 8, 2025
4 PDH Credits
Airports are required to report pavement strength using the Aircraft Classification Rating/Pavement Classification Rating (ACR/PCR) system. ICAO adopted the ACR/PCR system in 2020 and it became fully effective in November 2024. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supports ACR/PCR through Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5335-5D and the FAARFIELD software. This workshop is intended to familiarize participants with ACR/PCR principles and PCR reporting procedures using FAARFIELD 2.1. This workshop will help participants achieve the following learning objectives:
- Understand the key differences between ACR/PCR and ACN/PCN.
- Know how to use FAARFIELD 2.1 to meet FAA airport pavement strength reporting requirements.
- Experience real-world examples using the latest FAARFIELD software.
This workshop is intended for airport operators, pavement consultants, and others with a practical interest in airport pavement design and evaluation. This will be a hands-on workshop where participants are expected to actively participate in pavement design and evaluation exercises. Participants should download the current FAARFIELD software at:
